Software Engineer - Senior II - ESW04 - Open Quantum Science Solutions is supporting a proprietary customer contractQSS is delivering technical support to customer management and providing technical services to enable customer mission accomplishmentIn support of the customer's strategic direction, QSS is looking for individuals with mid-level ServiceNow Developer experience to support customer environment operationsThe ServiceNow Developer is a technical resource possessing ServiceNow administration capability and is able to design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications and servicesThe ServiceNow Application Developer has a software development background in addition to ServiceNow System Administration, ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, Scripting in ServiceNow, and Application Creation in ServiceNow
Responsibilities:
o Assists with the technical design for architecture, responsible for overall code quality ensuring a highly available and recoverable environmento Assist with the design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and technical solutionso Develop custom integration components and integrate legacy systems with platform using mid-server and other relevant technologieso Document, maintain and update policies, procedures and controls for the platform operation and software development life cycle while promoting agile development.o Assist ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution, as neededo Designs and develops new ServiceNow applications and serviceso Assist ServiceNow Business Analyst in estimating release level of effort Required Skills:
o U.SCitizenshipo Active Secret clearanceMust be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceo Must be able to obtain DHS Suitabilityo Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow developmento Enterprise and/or IT Service Managemento ServiceNow System Administrationo Experience with gathering requirements, database design schemas, and data modelingo Six (6) or more years of software development experience requiredo Minimum 2
Years' experience with ServiceNow developmento Minimum 2
Years' experience of developing a custom service portalo Minimum 2
Years of experience with Application
Experience:
Incident, Problem, Change Management, Knowledge, Service Catalogo Experience with process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reportingo Experience with Integration components (SSO, LDAP, e.g.) and web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, and Web Services)o Experience with LDAP Integration, ServiceNow Development APIs, and diagnosing performance related issues Desired Skills:
o Experience supporting Intelligence, DoD, or DHS Customerso Experience with process development and deploymento Web Service Integration (API Web Services) experienceo Single Sign-on configuration and administrationo SQL Experienceo Application
Experience:
ITx, HR, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, Security, Asset Management (HAM/SAM), PPM a Plus, Platform/Integration, Portal/UI, GRC Required Education:
