Engineering Fellow The Engineering Fellow for the Hardware and Infrastructure Directorate will provide leadership, architecture development, and strategic oversight of all product line program pursuits for Raytheon Intelligence, Information and
services
(IIS). Will be responsible for developing relationships with external customers, internal pursuit leads, and internal senior scientists/engineers in developing and delivering secure computing initiatives, complex ISR solutions, and hardware architectures of communications, munitions, avionics, and other systems. The candidate will direct diversified teams and work closely with Business Development and engineering leadership to develop winning proposal strategies, technology roadmaps and to expand products into other markets. The candidate must be fluent in high-level architectural trade parameters for a variety of technology options and be able to integrate these technical solutions while understanding possible impacts on cost, schedule and programmatic risk. The candidate must be knowledgeable of both hardware and software solution integration and be able to identify best-of-breed capabilities to deliver value to our Customers. The successful candidate will exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness, and the ability to integrate and deliver highly advanced COTS and custom technologies. The candidate will be viewed within the company and the customer
community
as an expert in solution delivery and assume a key leadership and advisory role representing the Hardware and Infrastructure Engineering organization across Raytheon and our customer base. In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate for this role must exhibit fine-tuned communication and presentation skills to interface with senior level executives across Raytheon and with our customers. The Principal Engineering Fellow will proactively seek to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs across the IIS product landscape. Required Skills: 12 years related technical experience. Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: secure computing; complex ISR computing architectures; hardware design of communications, munitions, and avionics solutions; solution delivery;
computer
video processing methods and algorithms (high definition video architecture) Domain experience in hardware/software integration, information assurance, user experience, refurbishment, and technology insertion (hardware and/or software). Must be able to communicate effectively with senior level executives and customers. Ability to serve as consultant to business segment management in strategic company planning concerning projected areas of technological research and advancements. Must have current or previous DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain higher level clearances up to a full-scope polygraph. Desired Skills: 20 years related technical experience. Viewed as an expert by company and industry, with various patents or trade secrets in a cross-section of the areas of required expertise (noted above). Involvement in industry consortia relevant to the job requirements Established or previous relationships with university research or military labs Proven ability to lead or help teams to resolve technical problems Demonstrated experience in developing long term technical strategies Advanced degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics Required Education: Masters in Engineering, Science or Mathematics Locations: Indianapolis, IN, Garland, TX, Dulles, VA, Aurora, CO. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
