Position Overview:
You will be an integral part of our National Repair Division offering your expertise in component level repair TMDE.

The Senior Repair Technician will perform calibration and repair of test measurement and diagnostic equipment used in the Life Science, RF/Telecommunications, and Semiconductor/Electronic Components markets.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Repair of high-end TDME equipment such as ,spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNA's, Oscilloscopes DMVs
Generate and submit efficient repair quotes.
Prepare calibration reports and certificates related to assignments in a timely manner.
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
Minimum AA degree in Electrical Technologies, formal PMEL, TDME or equivalent.
Must be able to perform mathematical computations related to specification and measurement analysis.
Minimum eight years of electronic repair and calibration experience.
Strong knowledge of electronic circuit theory and advance soldering skills.
Familiar with all main calibration and repair laboratory work stations with the ability to train others.
Must have great interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong attention to details.
Must possess good written, oral, and documentation skills.
Must be a self motivator, work as a team player, and follow written procedures.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds without assistance.
Occasional standing and bending are required.
Working Environment:
Works primarily in a laboratory or manufacturing environment at a SIMCO location and/or customer sites.
Travel may be required to other domestic and possibly international locations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
