Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative (Part-Time 3-6 month assignment)receives, prepares, processes, and follows-up on all orders and invoices for raw materials or finished goods products purchased from or through Quaker.
Receives orders for product through telephone, fax, mail or electronic mail, and enters orders data into the ERP
Confirms price, delivery, instructions, and freight pricing as required
Corresponds with customers, managers and sales process engineer
Responds to pricing inquiries and requests from customers or other Quaker entities; provide pricing letters upon request
Run invoice proof for all shipped orders. Match back-up paperwork with proof, validate information before running final invoice, and update through general ledger.
Perform order inspection to make sure all pertinent customer requirements are met
Maintain all customer data in ERP
Advises customers of order status, method of shipment, and dates of arrival.
Prepare various reports such as sales figures, usage reports, and shipment information from the enterprise software system or other records for managers, sales process engineers, and customers when requested
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be self-directed in performance of routine work, responds to internal and external customer requests in timely fashion
Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills
Solid computer skills, MS products, and ERP experience preferred
Previous customer service experience a plus
Must be willing to work part-time and temporary

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
