Location: OH-Middletown
Description
The Lab Assistant will provide support to the the Quality Chemists under direct supervison.
Responsibilities:
Assembling the QC batch cards
Generate COAs and FAX/e-mail, etc.
Pulling and shipping samples as requested
Perform daily balance checks and DI water checkRetain room (dumping samples, putting batch retains away, handling the RM retain spreadsheet and shelves)
Scanning and filing the raw material batch cards; filing the other QC documents
Run the glassware washer, put clean glassware away, clean vis tubes and Oxford cups
Handle incoming RMs and expired samples - make sure paperwork is there and samples are ready for chemists
Maintains equipment and facilities in a clean, orderly and safe condition, eliminating any safety hazards. Maintains a safe work area and follow all safety regulations.
Performs other functions as assigned by the supervisor.
Education:
Requires a high school diploma or GED. Some college course work preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
