Raytheon Technologiesis seeking a successful candidate for this position to be responsible for managing the Environmental, Health and Safety and Sustainability programs for multiple locations in the Dulles, VA area and Mid-Atlantic states.
The position is based in Dulles, VA and reports to the Dulles, VA EHSS Manager.
Candidates will apply knowledge and experience in EHS programs, regulations and requirements to support the Dulles, VA site and Mid-Atlantic States.
Candidate will be responsible for driving best practices and site maturity to maintain OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) certification.
Required Skills :

years of safety and environmental experience Must be US Citizen with ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance Knowledge of risk assessment strategies Strong knowledge and experience interpreting, applying and documenting federal, state and local safety and environmental regulatory requirements Overall generalist working knowledge in EHSS disciplines with developing subject matter expert level experience in safety, environmental, industrial hygiene and/or fire code compliance Proven ability to successfully communicate to all levels of the organization Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to work without direct, daily supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to be effective in working with people across all organization levels Implement EHS training programs.
Prepare, deliver and document EHS training Identify and mitigate workplace hazards Perform incident investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.
Follow-up to ensure corrective actions are effective.
Demonstrated ability to finish projects and complete deliverables on time, while managing multiple priorities Ability to be an effective team member, working solutions from inception to completion Ability to be effective working with people across all organizational levels.
Must be able to navigate through organizational boundaries to provide exceptional service to stakeholders Must have high professional and ethical standards and be accountable for quality of all work products.
