Overview:
Part of GEO GNC team for MEV support. Perform GEO-Star based spacecraft attitude control systems analysis, test, design and/or development. Run detailed spacecraft simulations using in house hybrid simulators. Design spacecraft attitude and orbit determination and control loops using MATLAB. Design various Guidance, Navigation and control algorithms using various tools, including MATLAB and C/C+
compilers. Develop subsystem specifications, develop GNC Flight software, test GNC FSW. Develop and test operations scripts. Enhance or extend simulator capabilities. Document results and create presentation materials.
Required
Qualifications: BS Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Masters Degree preferred) with 4 yrs relevant experience in space industry. Proficient in C and C+
programming 2) Proficient in Matlab, Simulink and real time work shop 3) Ability to analyze control systems using time and frequency domain techniques 4) Ability to analyze and tune kalman filters for attitude determination
